As Fall arrives, so does the Texas Book Festival and the Saturday night Lit Crawl Austin Noir At The Bar. This year they have us off Red River Street at Cheer Up Charlies November 8th, 7:30pm for reading up murder, betrayal, thievery, and other fun things in a range of voices. We have a line-up of local and national talent.

SARA SLIGAR hit he scene in 2020 with the unnerving pyschological thriller with Take Me Apart. She has earned rave reviews with her dark look at family with Vantage Point.

ASHLEY WINSTEAD makes bad behavior hilarious. her latest best seller is a dark comic take on the amatuer slueth novel This Book Will Bury Me.

MEG GARDINER was a bestselling author picked by Michael Mann to collaborate on the prose version of his crime classic Heat 2. If you haven't read any of her novels that feature FBI profiler Caitlin Hendrix, gear up for some intense treats.

NIC STONE comes out of Y.A. whith the most hard cors, hardboiled novel, Boom Town, revolving two missing dancers from an Atlanta gentlemen's club. She is one of my favorite discoveries of the year.

MIKE McCRARY is an Austin NoirBar mainstay. he always delivers material on the edge or just planning wrong. To experience this literary wild man is an experience.

Join me, as host, at Cheer Up Charlies, 7:30pm, Saturday and help keep Austin Noir.
